This is a set of 3 pieces of wool and cotton baby clothing, probably from the early part of the 20th century, or the Edwardian period. The wool is a soft, fine creamy color. The pieces include a darling hooded cape with embroidered scalloped edges, and a ribbon closure at the neck. The second piece is a sweet jumper of wool and of the same color with embroidery edges and an embroidered neck. The shoulders should close with hooks and eyes or buttons but those are missing. The third piece is a robe with a ribbon closure front believed to be cotton, of a creamy color, with scalloped edges and French knot embroidery. The sleeves are scalloped with embroidery and ribbon embellishments. These pieces were found at auction in Wolcott, New York. Condition is very good with a few very small pinholes, a few slightly wearing spots on the pieces, and a few very small minor spots.
